[01 Feb 2005|10:57am] its been a while guys since you've heard from the lipstick massacre. well we've had a lot of changes since the last update.. We've parted ways with Alicia... Diana took over vocals. She was playing and singing, and when that didn't go over well we found Leeah. Leeah quit after only playing one show. Then mid-January we found Rain. Rain's the new bassist for the lipstick massacre and we're hoping she's here to stay. besides that we've written all new material and recorded our first demo. its three songs and we're very happy with how it came out. its was recorded by Anthony Brodeur from On The Surface. He did a great job and it was a lot off working with him. post comment

[13 Jan 2004|03:29pm] Long time no update! We slack on this site so bad. It's really sad and we shouldn't. Hopefully someday really soon our dot.com will be finished! That will be brilliant once it is. Thanks for everyone who came to the Moose Show Friday (9th)! It was really fun. The bands played very well. and us on the other hand... Everyone gets their dose of band shows. Amanda's guitar string broke and our friend Chelsea couldn't play the keys with us so, our set was kinda eh? That doesn't mean you shouldn't come again! You need to come to more shows to see us on a good day. I promise we get better!! [20 Dec 2003|10:07pm] Well Well Well... I figure it's time for an update huh? I just want to give a huge thanks to all the bands who played with us December 12th at the Moose Lodge: Planet Sherbert, Amateria, Version Dark, To be continued, The Cheat, Downside Promise and Izinhower. And a huuuuugggge thanks to everyone who came. It was a nice turn out. Keep your eyes open in January for another Moose show! So not a whole lot has been happening with us lately, we just finished a new song. So, if you haven't been to a show lately come come! So you can hear it. We are playing tomorrow night in Worcester at the Cowboy Junction: We will indeed be working on a demo CD very shortly, we are hoping over this winter break! So keep your eyes open for that! And we still have tons of shirts youth and regular sizes only 8 bucks! thats all for now guys and gals. [01 Nov 2003|09:28am] Hello everyone! Just a reminder of our show Tonight at the CLub Marque on Main Street in Worcester. i hope everyone can make it. Our new site, www.thelipstickmassacre.com will hopefully be up and running in a few days. We're looking forward to that. We ordered shirts and will be selling them hopefully by November 13th. they'll be on sale at shows and what not. We're looking forward to getting some buttons, and also a demo cd with a few songs on it. Hopefully all of that will be available for November 15 at the battle of the bands. Contact us for information about purchasing tickets for the Battle of the Bands at the palladium(nov. 15). The Moose Show-Saturday Oct. 11 [12 Oct 2003|11:42am] Hey therr, Thank you everyone who came out to our show last night in Marlboro. We all really appreciated it! We're back in action! [20 Sep 2003|11:42am] Welcome to our new site!! Let me give you the 411 on whats been happening the past month or so! Well, as you obviously already know we changed our name. It was hard to let go of Queen of Hearts but, it was already taken by a German band and we weren't aware of that till recently. We are now The Lipstick Massacre! And.... We finally got our new drummer!! She is from Milford. Her name is Hannah and she is amazing! We were so lucky she contacted us because, we were all starting to feel like we were moving further and further away from the scene that we do so love. We have a few shows coming up in October and one in late September I believe. So you should check them all out. You know you want to see what happened and the changes made to the chick band from Marlboro!! We will be sharing the stage with some amazing bands at these shows so I highly recomend you check it out. If not for us but, for some of these other bands... It was mentioned that we will be playing with Junction 18 and The Receiving End of Sirens!! We are extremely excited for that!! We will also be playing with...Fighting Words, 4 Star Hero, Up and Adam, Closer to Nothing...and others!
